I was responsible for...
Taking blood pressure, Reading EKGS, patient interactions, Exercise Progression, lead warmups and cooldowns, day to day clean up duties.

I will never forget...
It was 8:30 on a Tuesday Morning. I was doing my 10 minute rounds to make sure everyone is doing there exercise correctly. My last patient had his head on the machine so I asked him how he felt and he said very lightheaded. I called a nurse over and administered CPR as she grabbed the crash cart. The man coded for about 6 minutes but came back before we had to shock him. I had to lead the entire exercise group to another room as the paramedics came. He was taken to the hospital and was able to successfully return to class.

Advice for others...
I would really practice blood pressure and EKG readings. Iowa State offered minimal blood pressure experience and I take at least 100 blood pressures every day. I had no experience before in reading EKGs so I would either buy a book or take a class in order to understand rhythms better.
